Privacy Policy

ShopWoW (“we”) is an online department store operated by ULTRA AGENT LIMITED (a legal entity registered in Thailand). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

1. Information We Collect

When you sign in through Ultra ID (our central identity service, which supports email · LINE · Google · Facebook · Apple), we collect only the following basic information:

• Email
• Display name
• Profile picture

In addition, we collect information you create yourself while using the service, such as orders, shipping addresses, phone number (when you verify a number to open a shop, or enter it in a shipping address), your favorite items, and your chat history with shops. We do not request access to your friend list, posts, or any other private content from the provider you use to sign in.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To verify your identity and create/sign in to your account
• To process orders, shipping, and payments
• To contact you regarding your orders or the service
• To improve security and prevent fraud

3. Disclosure — We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. We share information only to the extent necessary to provide the service, such as passing your shipping address to the seller you ordered from, or sending information to carriers and payment providers. Messages you send to a shop are visible to that shop, including through its UltraPilot store-management system (a service of ULTRA AGENT LIMITED) if the shop uses it; a shop can only see chats between the shop and its own customers. We disclose data to government authorities or courts when they request it under legal powers, only as far as requested, and we record every request in a register.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account remains active, or as long as necessary to provide the service. When you request account deletion, we delete your personal data following the steps on the Data Deletionpage. However, certain data that the law requires us to keep (such as transaction and tax records) may be retained for the period required by law. In addition, if your account is linked to fraud, a scam, or a legal case, we may keep a sealed copy of the identifying information needed to pursue it — accessible only when there is an actual legal case — for no longer than the applicable limitation period, in order to protect other users and to establish or defend legal claims. Chats with shops (including photos and offers) are records of a purchase, so we keep them to help resolve orders and disputes and to prevent fraud, for as long as necessary for these purposes and for the period required by law or needed to establish or defend legal claims. The ShopWoW app may show only recent messages, but older messages are kept securely. If you delete your ShopWoW account, we hide what identifies you in chats (such as your name and profile photo), but message content may be kept as a transaction record of the shop you chatted with.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. The fastest way: go to My Account → Privacy to download your data or delete your account yourself instantly, or contact us through the channels below.

6. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, and industry-standard security measures.

6.1 Computer traffic data (required by law)

We keep computer traffic data — IP address, date and time of use, the account used and the type of action (such as placing an order, listing a product or sending a chat message), never the message content — for at least 90 days as required by Section 26 of Thailand's Computer Crime Act, then delete it automatically unless an authority orders a longer hold (up to 2 years). We disclose it only to authorities or courts that request it under the law. Data and pictures of items removed for being illegal, or that were reported, are kept as evidence even after the seller deletes the item.

7. Cookies and on-device data

Cookies are small files a website saves on your device. ShopWoW uses only cookies that the site needs to work and cookies that help prevent fraud (legal basis: necessary to provide the service under our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in protecting users from fraud, under the PDPA). These cookies don't need prior consent, but we list every one of them below.

No advertising cookies or trackers — we don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or any ad-tracking tool, and we don't sell your usage data. If we ever add one, we will always ask for your consent first.

On-device data (local storage): For convenience, the website and app remember a few things on your device, such as recent searches, recently viewed products, your compare list, a friend's invite code, and your settings (language, sound, music, button positions, notices you closed). These are not cookies, and you can remove them by clearing site data in your browser.

Notifications: When you allow notifications, we use OneSignal to deliver them and keep only your device's notification ID. You can turn them off at any time in your device or browser settings.

How to remove: signing out removes the sign-in cookies · clearing cookies and site data in your browser removes everything (you'll need to sign in and pick your language again).
